NCTC stands for Nepal Chamber of Tax Consultants. It is an association of tax professionals in Nepal dedicated to enhancing the tax consultancy domain, advocating for fair tax policies, and promoting tax awareness and transparency in Nepal.
NCTC was incorporated on July 18, 2018. It later received affiliation from the Social Welfare Council of Nepal on August 30, 2018, and became affiliated with the Asia Oceania Tax Consultants’ Association (AOTCA) on October 16, 2019.
NCTC aspires to be the nation’s leading Tax Institute, fostering world-class tax consultants, including tax accountants, tax advocates, and tax economists.
Membership is open to Chartered Accountants, Registered Auditors, Tax Lawyers, Tax Economists, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, and Academicians.
NCTC offers four types of membership: Individual, Associate, Corporate, and Student. Individual members can opt for either annual or lifetime membership, while others can only avail of annual membership.
Individual Annual: 2000 NPR Individual Lifetime: 25,000 NPR Associate and Corporate: 15,000 NPR per annum Student Fee: 500 NPR per annum Additionally, there's an entrance fee of 500 NPR for all membership types.

NCTC provides certification and recertification programs in line with international standards, collaborates with educational institutions for specialized training, and promotes access to international tax consulting arenas.
NCTC is committed to actively participating in tax policy-making discussions, promoting tax awareness, and driving campaigns to ensure transparency in the tax system of Nepal.
NCTC organizes various tax events, promotes key tax issues, and conducts vital tax research. It is also planning to host an International Tax Conference in Nepal in 2025.
